Instructions Colors for FSC and FCM airbrush

Instructions :

Fire Scale Colors FSC paints are pre-diluted for direct use in airbrush, brush use only for minor touch-ups.

Shake the bottle well until the paint is well mixed. USE ONLY WITH AEROGRAPHER .

Apply over recommended primer

The air pressure (bar) commonly recommended for a gravity feed airbrush is anywhere between 1 bar - 2.5 bar, depending on the viscosity of the paint being sprayed. Fire Scale Colors inks are pre-diluted for optimal airbrush use, but using the right bar setting is the key to achieving a perfectly smooth and uniform finish. We recommend the use of low air pressure, between 1.5 to 2 bar when spraying Fire Scale Colors paints. The goal is to spray thin layers creating the desired color density. Never spray "wet" as this wastes ink and can create flaking paint. Remember that paint should not fix or “remove” imperfections on the plastic surface of your scale model.

Environment between 20 ° C and 22 ° C, drying time is 5 to 10 min. minimum between layers, the recommended 20 to 30 min.

The nozzle, also known as the tip, and the size of the airbrush needle determine the amount of paint that can be sprayed through it. Sizes generally range from 0.10 mm to 1.5 mm. We recommend a nozzle of at least 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm for good uniform spray coverage when spraying bodies of scale models with Fire Scale Colors inks. Nozzle sizes from 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm are best for painting larger areas, as they allow for a greater volume of paint flow over a wider spray pattern. This will give you much faster and more uniform coverage over large areas of car bodies.

If necessary, dilute the color use the Thinner FSC027 .

NEVER USE White Spirt, Thinners acrylic or cellulose thinner, are not suitable for this ink.

We do not recommend the use of paints in cold or damp environments, always check the conditions of the space where you will be painting.

Clean your airbrush with Fire Scale Colors airbrush cleaner or acetone. Ultrasonic cleaners do a great job of cleaning airbrush parts.

Always work in a well-ventilated area and always use a mask, keep away from children and tighten the cover for safety and conditioning of the product after each use.
